Antonella's speech by Greta

I have read Antonella's speech and I think it is a beautiful discourse. If you ever feel depressed or if you have low self-esteem, you should read it. Not only  is it an inspiring discourse  but also it makes you reflect about yourself, it makes you think that we can change for the better with effort
and patience. Personally, I really enjoyed how she read it because she did it in a way that was adequate.

Mariano's speech by Juan

I think it was a very good speech to apologize to the nation to which one belongs for having failed in such a way. I also found it interesting to give all of oneself to make it up for the wrong you did in a "dark" past.

It is also a great example of how ashamed such an important person can feel for disappointing their family and friends, just as everybody else. 

Greta's Speech (Tomas)

Greta made The Final Speech of the Great Dictator by Charles Chaplin and my opinion is that she did it great, despite the fact that she said it fast and that she had to say it twice because there were parts that weren't important. But as Toto said, her personality is not the best one to say Charles Chaplin's speech. However, I still think it was a good speech but  next time she should pick another one, related to her personality.

Tomás's speech (Belén)

Tomás's speech was really great. In spite of being shorter than the other ones (such as mine), it was a really inspiring speech which has very interesting and important messages that worth caring about. Freedom and equality, the main topics in this speech, are so important that they gave the whole speech that inspiring thing that every speech needs.

Nelson Mandela's speech, as I just said, contains lots of beautiful words filled with inspiration; for that reason, they have to be announced with conviction. Tomás did it really well, he said it without fear and read it slowly and deliberatedly, despite the fact that it was a political speech (this kind of speech is the most difficult to act). So, to sum up, his speech was one of the best, because he could act it calmly and unhurriedly.

Greta made The Great Dictator's Speech  and my appreciation is that it was a good speech. The text had a lot of messages.  Only reading the speech we can find some parts that need to be said more strongly or at least by raising your voice. But in the speech acted by Greta we didn´t see none of it. She made a monotonous discourse which made the speech  boring. Maybe her personality can be matched with another speech. That could be the problem: that Charles Chaplin's speech calls for a stronger personality.

I really liked the speech.  The words that she said were amazing. I totally think that “Our deepest fear” is a very inspiring speech for all the people.
It talks about the real fears a person can have and that we normally think fears are something negative or bad but if you stop for a minute and think it over, fears are good things in our lives, like being scared of lightness rather than darkness.
It also says that if we let our own light shine, unconsciously, we give the permission to other people to do the same. I loved that phrase and I think that the speech is beautiful and true.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a room that my family and I slept in  at Star Hotel last week.
We used to go to Star Hotel some years ago and we really took to it -that is why we decides to come back; but this time we were unhappy with our room.
 Firstly, we ordered a room for five people and we got a room for three. After several complaints they gave us some extra mattresses because there were no more rooms available. Later when we returned from a walk, we found the beds unmade and the room was still dirty. That was when we decided to leave.
However, we paid the stay without complaining but now I regret it, so I want to receive an explanation and an apology for the awful treatment we have received.

Dear Sir/Madam

   I am writing to express my dissatifaction with my stay at the `Royal hotel' last week.
We stayed in this expensive hotel with my family for a week, and we spent more than we earn in a month but our lodging was not excellent at all; it was not even good.
  Our first impression when we arrived was good because the building is beautiful, but the staff were rude and you could see that they were not willing to work.
   I paid every extra service available (because everything was extra) and my room was not clean. The restaurant was not first rate either.
  I am not writing to ask for a refund, because  I really do not want to come back to your hotel; I am doing so just for you to see what you are offering to your clients and so as to receive an apology for the service that we got

Letter of complaint

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about the service that I asked for at "Barcelo Hotels and Resort" three days ago.
I ended up there because of a recommendation from internet. Although I had an unexpected argument with part of the staff. I asked him if he could bring me a meal that was in the menu, so he kindly accepted.
However, while I was working in my room, the doorbell rang. It was the same employee to whom  I had  asked for my meal, but he was bringingsomething I did not ask. So I told him, and he started acting aggressively and not politely at all. I subtly requested for my dinner, so he came back with my order. But when I paid the residence, the bill said I had ordered two different meals the previous night and that is why I am writing this letter.
I am not giving a good review of this hotel unless the bellboy gives me an apology and the receptionist gives me back the money of the extra meal.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about a meal my family and I had in Rick's Restaurant last Sunday night.

We have gone multiple times to this Restaurant but last Sunday it was awful. We had to wait for about 50 minutes to eat what we had asked because there was a problem in the kitchen and they could not prepare the meal on due time.

Furthermore, when we were finally eating our meal, the electricity went off and all the place was really dark. We were so angry we decided to leave the place and we called a take-away service.

I have eaten, as I said, a lot of times in this restaurant but last night the service was disgusting and I refuse to go again unless I get a refund.

I am writing this letter because last week I went to Golden Hotel with my family and we had some problems.

My family and I went to Paris, looking for a quiet family trip, but as time went by, the situation got worse. I stayed for 15 days at the hotel, but I only slept the first 4! That was due to the fact that a group of friends or a family next to my room made a lot of noise! I really could not sleep.

However, the people from the hotel did not give any importance to this situation. So, my family and I decided to go to another hotel, to a place that took care of their customers.

I will not go back if  I do not get a proper refund

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about a problem with the room where I stayed at Swiss Hotel last week.

I reserved this room for a few days but in the middle of my stay I had a problem with the bathroom: the toilet had a terrible smell. However I decided to call  the reception and tell them my problem which they solved quikly by sending a plumber to fix it.

But the following day this smell came back. That is why I decided to talk again in a friendly way to the receptionist. They said that they did not have another room for me. Eventually I had to leave the room as it was unbereable to sleep in there. 

The problem is that they did not give me my money back, which is why I am writing to you. I hope I will have a refund.

Dear Sir/Madam:
I am writing to complain about an unacceptable stay at  the Paradise Hotel last week.
My husband and I were looking for a pleasant and relaxing place to spend our holidays. In contrast with what we had heard about this well-known residence, the installations and the staff are not at the level of its price. Firstly, when we arrived at the hotel, the woman at the check-in desk did not treat us in a polite manner as we had expected; what is more, she spoke to us impatiently, ignoring the fact that we had just arrived. Secondly, the installations were not as the internet page showed. In the web pictures, this hotel seemed to be more luxurious than it actually is. The room was so untidy and disordered that it was a shame to sleep in it. However, when I went to complain about it, the secretary responded similar to what she had done on the previous occasion.
We have been in several hotels, but I have never seen such a deceitful place. I will not stop sending complaining letters until I receive my money back.

Letter of complaint -Agustina

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a room my husband and I rented at the Palace Hotel last week.

We had reserved a room in this hotel and on many occasions, the people who had a room next to us, were shouting during the whole night. However, I talked to the receptionist and I asked him politely if he could solve my problem, which he did.

Nonetheless, while we were sleeping on Tuesday night, the people began to made strange noises again, as if they were moving their beds. I was so angry I decided to talk with the manager. She spoke to us in a friendly mannerbut she could not stop people making noise. We were so furious we decided to leave the hotel the following morning.

That was not my first time at the Palace Hotel, but I will not go again unless I receive a refund.
