extreme weather

I'm never going to forget the day that  the most strange thing I ´ve ever seen here took place. It snowed in Buenos Aires! When I heard my little sister saying "It´s snowing! Let´s go outside!” I couldn´t believe it! I was really shocked, because it hadn´t snowed in Buenos Aires for almost fifty or sixty years. It was actually a miracle!

It had been drizzling all day and it was such a freezing day that I stayed with my family in my grandma´s house until night. However, when we saw that it started snowing, we didn´t care about the below-zero temperature and we got outside immediately. Actually, it wasn´t a real blizzard, it was just a "snow drizzling", but it was incredible. My siblings and I tried to do a snowman, but unluckily there wasn´t enough snow to make even the head. Anyway, we really enjoyed this unusual snowy day and I´m still waiting for another freezing rainy day like that!
