Clung to thoughts

Mona Lisa is an American film directed by Mike Newell. This movie takes place in 1953, a period of time when women had a "default role" in society and that thought was very strict and fixed. Can you imagine that?

Katherine Watson (Julia Roberts) moved from California to Wellesley University to teach Art History. This free-thinking professor teaches conservative Wellesley girls to question their traditional social roles, because she wanted these girls to continue studying at university and graduate before getting married, having family and giving up on their studies or dreams.

I think that this movie is very interesting because it shows the thinking of that time and you can compare it to current days. I really recommend this movie to teenagers and adults because it is very interesting and catchy.
